Averyhill Summer Camp Information

  • Camp programming runs Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
  • Please adhere to the following drop off & pick up times to aid the congestion in our parking lot:
    • Campers 10 years of age or older must be dropped off from 8:30-8:45am and picked up from 4:15-4:30pm.
    • Campers 9 years of age or younger must be dropped off from 8:45-9:00am and picked up from 4:00-4:15pm. In the case of siblings or carpooling, parents may choose the more appropriate time.
  • Early drop off (8am-8:30am) and late pick up (4:30pm-5pm) is available at an additional charge. Please email us for further details if this is required.
  • Dress for an active, outdoor program (t-shirt, shorts, and running shoes).
  • Long pants may be preferred for riding. Helmets will be provided but campers are encouraged to bring their own riding helmet if they have one. All campers are required to bring their own boots (must have a distinct heel). These do not have to be proper riding boots, any boot with a heel is sufficient.
  • Pencil case for art with the following suggested supplies – pencil, eraser, crayons/pencil crayons/markers, scissors, and glue. Campers will also need a 100% cotton item (i.e., t-shirt, pillowcase) for tie dye day. Campers will be informed which day to bring this item.
  • Swimsuit and towel. Campers may also wish to bring flip flops, goggles, and floaties if needed.
  • Clothing to cover up in case of mosquitoes in the woods.
  • Bug spray, sunscreen, and hat.
  • All activities go rain or shine so please bring a raincoat and boots on rainy days.
  • Please send a peanut-free lunch, snacks, and drinks every day.
  • Please note that there are no water fountains at the farm. We will sell cold bottled water ($1 each) for campers that need extra water throughout the day.
  • Group requests (i.e., siblings/friends in the same group) must be communicated by the Thursday prior to your camp week. Please be aware that it is difficult to put children that are more than 2 years apart in the same group and still make the program relevant and safe for everyone.
  • Refund policy – Camp weeks cancelled by June 1st will be given a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. Camp weeks cancelled after June 1st will be given a full refund less a $50 administration fee if we are able to fill the place in camp with someone from our waiting list. Cancellations received within 10 days of your child’s camp week will not be refunded.
