COVID-19 Update

We sincerely hope that you and your family are safe and healthy during this extremely difficult time and wanted to provide an update with what is happening at the farms and with our programs.

Both locations of Averyhill farm are currently closed to the public. Only essential staff and services are allowed on the properties so that we can continue to care for all of the animals. If you registered for our spring session of riding lessons you should have received information via email. We will continue to provide email updates to all registered riders as this situation unfolds. It is our intention to start lessons again as soon as it is safe for us to reopen. The horses miss all the attention and we know the riders are missing the barn as well!

At this time we plan to go ahead with our summer camp program in July and August. We feel that camp programs like ours will be truly needed this year. This situation has forced children to be inside and isolated from friends and all the things they enjoy doing. We will of course be following guidelines from local, provincial, and federal governments and health ministries and will only run camp if it is safe to do so. If you have registered and would like to cancel your registration, our regular cancellation policy is still in effect and we will refund your camp fees less a $25 cancellation charge per week. We will provide an email update regarding summer camp 2020 to all registered campers on or before June 1st.
